Anti Bullying Ambassadors

Who are we?

There are 24 of us in total from Y3 to Y6. You can tell us apart from everyone else by our blue badges.

What do we do?

We are very proud that bullying is not a problem at our school. Our job is to keep our school a bully-free zone so that everybody feels safe and valued. We think it is important that everyone feels valued and respected and it is our job to make sure that this happens. If children feel worried or upset about anything, they are able to speak to us and we will try our best to help them sort out their problems. We have regular meetings with Laura and Mrs Cottenden to talk about how things are going and how we could help people more.

Every year in November, we celebrate Anti-bullying Week. We help with this by talking in assembly about what bullying is and what we can do about it. We have made Worry Boxes for each of the classrooms and check these regularly to see if there is anyone who needs our help. We have a display board in the playground so that everyone knows who we are and what we can all do to stop bullying. During Wellbeing Week, we run activities at lunchtime for the rest of the school to help them with their wellbeing.

If you need help then please come and talk to us or a grown up at home or in school. You can also contact Childline on 0800 1111 where all calls are free.

We helped to write our anti-bullying policy for pupils. See the link below.
