Who Are We?

Every parent at our school is a member of the PTFA, as is every member of staff. We also have many supportive ’friends’ in the local community. In order to manage and run things efficiently we have an active committee. We are always keen to involve more parents!  We meet once a term, each month at 7pm and meetings last around an hour. Everyone is welcome.  We run a calendar of events throughout the year with the aim of buying resources for the school and supporting school traditions.

What Do We Do?

We aim to support the school by providing extras to enrich the curriculum. Last year we raised money for the KS2 climbing frame, the late care oven and dishwasher.  We also run a Fruit Run event to pay for KS2 children's apples.   The PTA also contribute towards the running of our school minibuses.

Recent Events

The PTA would like offer a huge thank you to everyone who supported the recent events, taking place at Boughton. All of the money raised goes to buy new equipment to directly benefit all of the children at the school.

Sponsored Bounce

The annual Boughton-under-Blean and Dunkirk Sponsored Bounce brings fun and excitement throughout the school. As always the event is well supported and the children are always up for the challenge!

Christmas and Summer Fayres

We annually hold a Summer Faye and Christmas Fayre.  Private stalls are welcome - contact the office for more details.

What Can I Do To Help?

We are always looking for people to help at events – setting up, running a stall, collecting money or counting bounces! We are grateful for support at our meetings and for those who cannot attend in person we email the minutes out. We always need new ideas and encourage people to come forward with their fundraising suggestions.
