Breakfast Club and Late Care Information letter January 2016

During the time spent at the club children can choose from a variety of planned activities including cooking, messy play, creative activities, free and structured play within the indoor and outdoor environment.

In addition to providing child care the club offers and excellent opportunity for the children to engage and socialize with their peers.

Meal times are an important time for children to socialise.

Children at Breakfast Club are offered a choice of cereal or toast. We try to promote healthy eating so at late care they have a selection of fruit and vegetables, drinks and a light tea, such as jacket potatoes with various toppings; pasta, cheese salad or beans. All food confirms to school food guidelines.

We are very proud of our staff, all of which do a fantastic job. Staff promote activities relevant to the time of year it is or if there are any significant events coming up.  Children enjoy making things for valentine's day, mother's day, Easter and Christmas as well as basic art and craft.  They have the opportunities to go outside, get fresh air and play with a selection of toys.  When it is hot, they often are able to run around on the field and play football or any activites they wish.
